Compliance
Licensed, tracked, tested.
Every plant on site has a METRC tag. Every package on the truck has a manifest. Every batch is screened by a California-licensed independent testing lab before it ships. Our wholesale partners receive the same transparency packet on every order.
METRC track-and-trace
California's Cannabis Track-and-Trace system is operated by Franwell on the METRC platform. Every plant receives a UID tag at the immature stage, and every package receives a tag at finishing. Inter-licensee transfers move on a METRC manifest with a state-assigned manifest number.
Plant tags
UID applied at immature stage. Lifecycle events (veg, flower, harvest, dry, cure) recorded.
Package tags
UID applied at finishing. Each package carries weight, source plant batch, and lab result reference.
Manifest
METRC issues the manifest number. We share it with you for receipt reconciliation against your purchase order.
DCC licensing
The California Department of Cannabis Control consolidated the prior agency structure (BCC, MCSB, CalCannabis) into a single regulator in 2021. CAN operates under license C12-0000417-LIC, verifiable at the DCC public license search.
- · Public license search: search.cannabis.ca.gov
- · License type: C12 Microbusiness (cultivation + manufacturing + distribution + retail)
- · License number: C12-0000417-LIC
- · Issuing authority: California Department of Cannabis Control
Lab testing
Every batch is screened by a California-licensed independent testing lab. The screen covers cannabinoid potency, terpene profile, residual solvents, microbial impurities, mycotoxins, heavy metals, pesticides, and water activity / moisture, per the post-2023 testing scope.
What we test
- Cannabinoid potency (THC, CBD, minors)
- Terpene profile
- Residual solvents
- Microbial impurities (E. coli, Salmonella, Aspergillus)
- Mycotoxins
- Heavy metals
- Pesticides
- Water activity & moisture
COA exchange
Every shipment ships with a Certificate of Analysis from the testing lab. We're working on a customer COA library at coa.centralavenursery.com (TBD) so wholesale partners can pull historical COAs by batch number.
